As much as their name disturbs me, and as much as it was torture for a certified Arachnophobe to Google it, Ennis-formed, Cork-based alt. rockers Fried Spider have got some undeniably decent tunes in (or should that be up?) their arsenal, not least scuzzy guitar-pop ditty ?The Sun‘.
