Steafan Hanvey & The Honeymoon Junkies
Steafan Hanvey, like Ash and Relish before him, hails from Downpatrick, Co. Down, in Northern Ireland. He started work on this, his debut album, in 2002, drafting in the help of Ken and Carl Papenfus from Relish, and various members of Van Morrison's band. Steafan has played support to The 4 Of Us, John Spillane, Mary Coughlan, Damien Dempsey, Hugh Cornwall (The Stranglers), The Walls, Don Baker, The Devlins, Eleanor McEvoy and The Hothouse Flowers and did a whistle-stop tour of Ireland with Liam O'Maonlai in 2005. We recently called this release "a rare delight" and that it is.
