Sadness, Madness & Gladness
Picturehouse have long been seen as the acceptable face of Irish pop. This third official outing sees the familiar combination of killer hooks, plaintive vocals and melodies that are as catchy as the common cold. If anything it’s a more adult album as evidenced on ‘Breathe’ and ‘She’ but they still can’t resist the effervescent pop for which they’ve become best known, most obvious here on the single ‘Everybody Loves My Girl’.
