Carla Bruni is a singer/songwriter based in France. Likened to a French version of Nico, Carla's graceful delivery and soft-timbered vocals will send a delicious little thrill up the spine. She has an acoustic, folky sound along the lines of Emmylou Harris and Edie Brickell with definite influences from France such as Francoise Hardy. "The husky-voiced Bruni gets under your skin with quirky, affecting numbers like the title track," said Colm O’Hare. Carla is currently in the studio recording a duet with Paul Weller for his new album.
