New police thriller set in Paris, Dead Beautiful, coming to All4

A series that looks to be packed with grisly crime, Gallic style and fiendish twists and turns is coming to All4, the online home of the Channel 4 family of television stations.

Dead Beautiful is based on a series of books by Alexis Lecaye, who is also handling the screenwriting.

The show has already won two awards at the Festival de la Fiction TV at La Rochelle.

Thierry Godard stars as the Parisian Police Commissioner, who has a lot on his plate as he battles to solve shocking crimes against women while juggling the numerous women in his life - "a colourful cocktail of drama and distraction" according to a press release.

The series is available on All4 from August 4.
