Backspacer hoisted them right back up to the top of the Vintage Rock pyramid as far as we‘re concerned, and now, four years later, Eddie Vedder and company look likely to have another pop-minded, guitar-fuelled smash on their hands with tenth album Lightning Bolt. A shouty, charging, testosterone-laden cyclone, first single ?Mind Your Manners‘, at least, foretells very good (read: reckless, noisy, rowdy) things.
