At the start of 2006, Grandaddy announced that, sadly, they were going their separate ways. Just Like The Fambly Cat is a sad but inspiring encore to Grandaddy's fourteen years as a band. The album bursts urgently to life from the opening strains of 'What Happened To..." and continues on through a journey of gentle poignancy and beauty. If it wasn't compiled of new material, JLTFC would sound like a Best of...this is Grandaddy at their finest.
