Described by HP’s Lauren Murphy as a “collection of satisfyingly pristine indie rock”, I’ll Wait For
Sound is the second outing from Dublin band Director. It may have been a long time coming – the future of the band was unsure after they parted with their major label following the release of 2006’s We Thrive On Big Cities debut – but this sound was definitely worth waiting for. Singles ‘Play Pretend’ and ‘Sing It Without a Tune’ offer a taste of the stellar material on offer – strong lyrics and killer tunes. Well worth checking out.
