Damien Clabby and Finn Corrigan RIP
Hotpress.com remembers two recently passed musical talents
Hot Press was saddened to learn of the death of two highly-respected Irish luminaries over the Christmas period.
King Sativa and Catch A Fire guitarist Damien Clabby died unexpectedly on Sunday December 29, aged 25. Says his brother and bandmate Derek Clabby: "He was buried on January 4, his 26th birthday. He is sorely missed by all his family and friends. I'd like to thank in particular all the musicians who attended his funeral, and after he was laid to rest turned it into a celebration of his life."
Meanwhile, Dervish lost their "sound engineer and dear friend" Finn Corrigan on Christmas Day as the result of a domestic accident.
Also a well-known musician who used to play with Auto Da Fe and Those Nervous Animals, Corrigan is remembered at www.dervish.ie
