The third release from the Seachtain na Gaeilge Project promises to be the best yet. Artists ranging from Declan O’Rourke and Damien Dempsey to Gemma Hayes and Bell X1 collaborated to create the 2007 release. Tracks include original pieces as well as existing tunes translated into Irish, giving artists a chance to sing in Gaeilge for a change. Bell X1’s ‘Bladhm’ (‘Flame’), for example, is a new take on an old song that cannot be missed.
