WATCH: Villagers in Hot Press Storeroom Session

The last time the immensely talented Conor J. O'Brien was ushered into the HP Storeroom, we essentially set him on fire (check out the new issue, on sale now, for the results).

So it was a courageous move on his part to return to the scene of the cover shoot and cheer us all up early on a miserable Tuesday with a few new songs.

Clearly giddy from copious amounts of coffee and the fact his tremendous {Awayland} - the follow-up to 2010's mighty debut Becoming A Jackal - had just been officially released, he chatted to our own Craig Fitzpatrick before grabbing his acoustic and treating us to the beautiful 'Nothing Arrived' and 'Judgement Call'.
