Having successfully teamed up with direct-to-fan platform PledgeMusic, Tipperary songstress Gemma Hayes is currently hard at work on her upcoming fifth studio record, set for release via her own Chasing Dragons imprint.

Speaking to Hot Press scribe John Walshe, Gemma discusses her forthcoming new record and why she went the PledgeMusic route, the decision to invite fans to work alongside her on the new album, addresses rumours of an electronica record and reveals why writing for film and TV is especially liberating.
