Gavin James @ Electric Picnic 2013

It's been quite the 12 months for Gavin James with the young Dubliner scooping the Choice Music Prize Song of the Year for 'Say Hello' and playing to a packed Croke Park crowd during half-time of the All Ireland final just two of many highlights.

Electric Picnic was another weekend of note for James, who took the time to sit down on the Hot Press Chatroom couch and belt out 'Say Hello' and debut a new, untitled number.

In between that, Gavin talked about the success of his Choice Music Prize-winning song (and how his Dad deserves the lion's share of the credit), working alongside Bressie and future plans. Check it all out below.
