Watch: Marcus releases cinematic video for debut single 'Obey'

If you haven't heard of Marcus yet, buckle up. His debut single 'Obey' is out today, and we can safely say it is some of the most beautiful indie pop we've heard in a long time.

Written over a year ago about an on-and-off relationship, the track boasts masterful lyrics over a layered, sweeping soundscape. Marcus began writing in 2015, honing his craft at open mic nights.

The accompanying video was created on a shoestring budget. Nevertheless, the modern-day Bonnie & Clyde story is cinematic and elegant. Directed by Alan Dunne for Stubborn Monkey Media (how fitting!), and starring Cat Williams and Neil Heaney, it toes the line between irreverent and sinister. Keep your eye on this one, folks.
