TV SHOW OF THE DAY: The Late Late Show (RTÉ 1, 9.35PM)
On the show tonight, Ibrahim Halawa will be giving an exclusive interview, in which he talks about his four years spent imprisoned in Egypt.
While RTÉ has not yet released a full line-up of the featured guests, Halawa confirmed via his Facebook page on October 31st that he would be speaking with Ryan Tubridy tonight.
Halawa was arrested in Cairo on August 16th 2013 after participating in a series of protests directed against the Egyptian military's coup d'etat, which resulted in the removal of then-President Muhammad Morsi. Subsequently held in pre-trial detention, his case being postponed a total of 28 times, he was cleared of all charges in September, and returned to Ireland on October 24th.
Read our interview with Ibrahim's sister Somaia here, in which she discussed the process of bringing him home.
The Late Late Show is on RTE 1 at 9.35pm tonight
