Lorde donates Minneapolis show proceeds to immigrant rights groups
The Instagram story post also included an image of the singer, with the words "ICE out" written on her hand.
Lorde has announced she will be donating $204k (€173k) in merch proceeds from her Minneapolis show to the Minnesota Immigration Rights Action Committee and the Immigrant Defense Network.
Lorde performed two sold-out shows in Minneapolis in October.
The Kiwi singer, who has been performing her Ultrasound Tour worldwide for the past five months, made the announcement to social media last night. The Instagram story post also included an image of the singer, with the words "ICE out" written on her hand.

This is the first time Lorde has publicly commented on the ongoing Immigration and Customs Enforcement occupation in Minneapolis. Other artists that have spoken out against ICE include Bruce Springsteen, Billy Bragg, Moby, Chappell Roan and Kehlani.
At the 2026 Grammy Award last weekend, several artists addressed the human rights crisis in their acceptance speeches, with others wearing "ICE OUT" pins on the red carpet.
"Before I say thanks to God," said Puerto-Rican singer Bad Bunny upon accepting his award for Best Musicá Urbana Album. "I'm going to say ICE out. We're not savages, we're not animals, we're not aliens, we are humans and we are Americans."
