The journalist's investigation into the disappearance of the
Gemma O'Doherty has shared her documentary on the disappearance of Mary Boyle.
The six-year-old girl disappeared in Cashelard, Ballyshannon in 1977, and the case piqued the interest of the award-winning investigative journalist during recent years.
O’Doherty, working with Mary Boyle’s twin sister Anne Doherty, has drawn certain conclusions – including that the Gardaí were on the verge of cracking the case until the intervention of a local politician.
