Enough is Enough: 35 years of the 8th Amendment
Members of the Fine Gael Party pressing for a yes vote in the upcoming referendum on the Eighth Amendment will, this Friday morning, be joined by Fine Gael TDs of 1983 to discuss the need for repeal.
Current day Fine Gael Oireachtas members will be joined by Monica Barnes, Nora Owen, Gemma Hussey and Madeleine Taylor-Quinn for this event to discuss the Eighth Amendment and what it has meant for women since 1983.
They will also examine issues pertaining to the campaign, comparing 1983 to 2018.
It will discuss Fine Gael women of 83 and today talk about the Eighth Amendment and its effect on Irish women for the last 35 years.
It will take place on 11.30am, Friday 4th May 2018, at Georgian Suite, Buswells Hotel, Dublin 2..
