Danny Healy-Rae Raises Eyebrows Again!
The colourful Kerry TD famously told us here at Hot Press last year that Noah's Ark was "proof" that God was in the charge of the weather. And he's now at it again by telling people that he believes in fairies too!
Danny Healy-Rae's daughter Maura Healy-Rae told a meeting of Killarney Municipal District Council that he's "convinced" that little people are the culprits to blame for causing the poor conditions on the roads in certain parts of Kerry.
"My father is convinced there's fairies there," Maura Healy-Rae informed the Council meeting.
Mayor of Killarney Cllr Niall Kelleher then asked her, "Did he see them?"
"I don't know, but he's convinced they're there," she stated.
The bizarre conversation occurred during a meeting to discuss future development plans for the County's Infrastructure.
Danny made international headlines last year when he told Hot Press that he believed in Biblical literalism, or a literal interpretation of the Bible, citing Noah's Ark as proof that Climate Change was a myth.
