Cillian Murphy and Éanna Hardwicke pay tribute to Michael D. Higgins

Cillian Murphy:

I’m a massive fan of Michael D. I hope the next person in the Áras can match him for empathy, tolerance and insight, because he was a master at that.

Éanna Hardwicke:

I was very honoured to appear recently in the music video for Michael D.’s poem, ‘Against All Certainty’. It was one of those pinch yourself moments, because I think he’s been an incredible statesman. He represents so much of what we love about this country. Across the island, there’s an almost unanimous affection for Michael D. and pride that he’s our president.
