Breaking: Reports of a Home Sweet Home-style homeless intervention in Sligo
Is this the start of a nationwide series of direct actions?
Word is coming through tonight of a Home Sweet Home-style takeover of empty property in Sligo.
Reads a social media post: "We have now occupied vacant former offices. Mattresses & blankets provided. No electric or running water. Well insulated building though (secret location) hot soup & sandwiches provided. Just copying #homesweethome Is this the thin edge of the wedge ? I hope so!! Look at what you started ? A peaceful revolution. Now we feel we can do this every where!!"
More information as we get it...
