Bill Cosby Found Guilty Of Sexual Assault
The Hollywood star has been found guilty of drugging and raping a woman in his home 14 years ago.
The jury found the 80-year-old actor guilty of three charges - penetration with lack of consent, penetration while unconscious, and penetration after administering an intoxicant.
The maximum penalty for each charge is 10 years, which means that Cosby could technically face 30 years in prison.
The victim Andrea Constand is one of 50 women to have made claims against Bill Cosby.
“I was kind of jolted awake and felt Mr Cosby on the couch beside me, behind me, and my vagina was being penetrated quite forcefully, and I felt my breast being touched. I was limp, and I could not fight him off," Constand told the court.
Back in 2006, Cosby paid out $3.38 million to Andrea Constand after she sued him.
