The prog-metal act are in with a chance of performing live at one of this Summer's hottest festivals
Having topped the Buzz Chart and played a blinder of a gig in their bedroom, which was streamed live to thousands of people, Derry prog-metallers Zia Regime have made it through to the Festival Chart stage of the Red Bull Bedroom Jam.
That means they’re tantalisingly close to bagging themselves a spot on one of the summer’s hottest outdoor rock ‘n’ roll bills. For that to come about though they’re going to need a little help from their Irish fans.
“It’s amazing to be in with a chance to play at some of the major festivals where we dream about just seeing the other acts,” enthuses the band’s Michael McGonigle. “Sonisphere has Metallica, Anthrax, Megadeth and Slayer, four of the biggest metal bands of all-time. We need your support to make this happen, all you have to do is go onto the website and rate the video five stars and also comment on our page, Facebook, MySpace and Twitter. We really want to make you proud!”
