Team Ghost is the brainchild of former M83 founder Nicolas Fromageau. His debut mini-album takes the sonic blueprint he created with M83 and adds some Krautrock for good measure. For the most part You Never Did Anything… is an imaginative, trail-blazing record. Fromageau’s use of odd samples and spoken word pieces is effective and if Team Ghost’s full length LP is as good as this seven-track effort then we’re all in for a treat.
