Years & Years announces gig at The National Museum in Dublin next year
Olly Alexander's project will headline Mother Pride's opening party next June.
Olly Alexanders's solo project Years & Years will play The National Museum, Collins Barracks in Dublin next year as part of his Night Call Tour.
As part of his first tour since the former band became a solo act, the Dublin show will also serve as the opening night for the Mother Pride Block Party.
Years & Years will likely play songs from his new album Night Call, which is due for release on January 7, 2022.
Two singles from the record have been dropped so far, 'Starstruck' and 'Cave', with the album also Alexander's first without former band members Mikey Goldsworthy and Emre Türkmen.
It's been a busy year for the singer, as he showcased his acting chops with the leading role in the acclaimed Channel 4 drama It's a Sin.
The mini-series was a massive hit, being viewed in its entirety over 6.5 million times on the network's free streaming platform All 4.
Its subject matter detailing the HIV/AIDS crisis during 1980's London was praised critically for creating more HIV awareness. The British HIV and sexual health charity, The Terrence Higgins Trust, reported that 8200 HIV testing kits were ordered in a single day after the show aired, a new record.
Tickets for Years and Years at The National Museum for Mother Pride's opening night go on sale on November 5 from here.
