A month into touring the rock quartet release a new track
English rock band Wunderhorse have released a new single ‘The Rope’.
The song was recorded spontaneously at RAK Studios in London, just before the band started touring last month. Produced by Lauren Humphrey with Communion Records, the conceptualisation and recording of ‘The Rope’ “mirrors the ethos of spontaneity and urgency present throughout the recent album Midas.”

The band’s second album, Midas, was released in August of 2024, and similar to their new single, Wunderhorse wanted the tracks to have a visceral feel and for the sound to be natural and raw. Frontman Jacob Slater said that while recording, the band had a very specific auditory experience in mind: “We wanted it to sound like your face is pressed up against the amplifiers, like you've been locked inside the bass drum.”
This summer, the band will be touring all across Europe, North America, the UK, Australia, and New Zealand, including two shows in Dublin’s Collins Barracks on August 19 & 20. The second show is already sold out; however, there are still tickets available for August 19 here.
