Another day, another glut of Irish releases so good, international artists just don‘t get a look-in. First to Dublin in the year 2011, where local synth fiddlers Brian Rice and Darren Moloney are evoking the sound of the mid ?80s (just in case the name didn‘t tip you off). ?Woods‘ is a great introduction to the scuzzy vibrations of Last Days Of 1984 ? fizzing with electronic beats and suitably mystical vocals, this shape-shifting track makes full use of its 7 minutes and 46 seconds.
