Wolf Alice announce Belfast show
Tickets go on sale Friday, February 27, on Ticketmaster.ie.
Wolf Alice have announced their biggest Belfast show to date, taking place at the Custom House Square on August 29.
Last summer, the band released their most recent album, The Clearing.
"We wanted something that evokes a sense of peace," explained Ellie Rowsell in an interview with Hot Press. "The feeling of when you have a nice, quiet moment to yourself. I feel like The Clearing conjures up a sense of that."
After the release of their latest LP, Wolf Alice did a mini Irish tour with intimate shows at Set Theatre, Kilkenny; Cyprus Avenue, Cork; and Dolan's Warehouse, Limerick.
Last December, the band ended their UK & Ireland Wolf Alice: The Clearing Tour with a show at the 3 Arena, Dublin.
The North London band formed in 2010 as an acoustic duo comprised of singer Ellie Rowsell and guitarist Joff Oddie. The alt-rock quartet was then complete in 2012, after drummer Joel Amey and bassist Theo Ellis joined the group.
Tickets will be available here on February 27.
