Witnness it yourself
"Why aren't (insert fave newish band here) playing Witnness?" we hear you gripe. Well, Tom Dunne's Pet Sounds (Today FM, weekdays 7 to 9pm) are giving you the chance to vote your favourite Witnness Rising artist right onto the festival bill. Done and done
Listeners to Tom Dunne's Pet Sounds are being asked to vote for their favourite 'Witnness Rising Artist of the Week', with the winners getting to play at the upcoming Fairyhouse musicfest.
They'll join such existing Pet Sounds regulars as Damien Rice, Gemma Hayes, Pony Club and Melaton on the July 13th and 14th bill, which is well on its way to being a sell-out.
To find out how you can vote – and possibly pick up a prize – tune in Monday to Thursday 7 to 9pm on Today FM.
For a full Witnness preview and exclusive interviews with the headliners, see the next action-packed issue of Hot Press which hits the streets on Thursday, July 4th.
