What's Going On In Cork For Record Store Day?
We've got the low-down on what's happening in Cork City this Saturday
Record Store Day is just two days away and independent record store owners in Cork have got a great day planned for vinyl and music lovers.
Music Zone at unit 36 Douglas Court, Cork, is hosting RSD on Saturday, April 16.
Limited edition records available on the day include: David Bowie, The Doors, Jimmy Page, Metallica, Bob Dylan, Fleetwood Mac, Miles Davies, Jethro Tull, Florence and The Machine, Foals and many more.
There will be lots of free giveaways on the day and best of all, live musical performances from local bands.
At 11am - Raising Jupiter (rock n' roll band with Scottish and Cork roots)
At 1pm - Cry Monster Cry (An Irish alt-folk duo, make their way down from Dublin)
At 2pm - Anna Mitchell (The singer-songwriter is joined by John Blek)
At 3pm Crojayn (An up-and-coming alt-rock group from Cork)
