Weyes Blood releases new video for 'Twin Flame'

Weyes Blood has revealed a new music video for her track 'Twin Flame' from 2022's And in the Darkness, Hearts Aglow.

Following the releases of 'It’s Not Just Me, It’s Everybody', 'Grapevine', and 'Hearts Aglow', 'Twin Flame' is Weyes Blood's latest track to get the music video treatment.

'Twin Flame' is the fifth track from singer-songwriter Weyes Blood aka Natalie Laura Mering's most recent LP And in the Darkness, Hearts Aglow, which released last November to widespread acclaim.

Opening on a highly stylized animated intro and steeped in gothic shades of romanticism; the video follows a crooning Mering as she broods in the darkened hallways of a castle in a scarlet dress, awaiting the arrival of her husband.

Directed by Amber Navarro; the new video revels in nostalgic and anachronistic visuals, simultaneously evoking the moody aesthetics of a 70's horror flick and the atmosphere of a gothic novel.
