Weezer - Track Review

Weezer fans have had a tough old time of it. There have been horrific Lil Wayne collaborations, a string of weak records and petitions offering Rivers Cuomo and Co. $10 million to break up. Their new single could see them turn a corner. It has an ace metal riff, chunky guitars and a vintage chorus which harks back to the much-loved Pinkerton. “I had to go and make a few mistakes/So I could find out who I am” offers their singer by way of apology. It’s okay Rivers, if there are more songs like this on album number 10 then all is forgiven.
