Weather Of A Killing Kind
Kristian Matsson will probably never escape the Bob Dylan comparisons as long as he lives, but there is a haunting cadence to his voice that even Dylan must be jealous of. Originally a bonus track from last year’s The Wild Hunt album, ‘Weather Of A Killing Kind’ finds the 28-year-old Swede in an especially sombre mood, reflecting “I drink for something when I’m nothing/I drink for nothing when it’s gone” against a typically beautiful guitar arrangement. Quite stunning.
