The New York-based band will play Whelan’s in November of 2021.
We Are Scientists have announced a tour of Ireland and the UK in 2021 in support of their upcoming album, Huffy.
The band, which consists of Keith Murray, Chris Cain and Keith Carne, kick off the UK segment of the tour on November 24th in Sheffield. The trio will perform in Whelan’s on November 29th, and play Limelight 2 in Belfast on November 30th.
‘The Come On Get Huffy Tour’ will be the band’s first performance in Ireland and the UK since 2019. They played a date in The Academy, and another date in Limelight 2 in May of that year.
Tickets for the tour are available for presale on Wednesday (July 7) at 9am and go on general sale on Friday (July 9) at 9am.
We Are Scientists wrap up the tour on December 9th when they play the O2 Forum Kentish Town, in London. The band, who formed in Berkeley California in 2000, will also embark on a European tour in April 2022.
Huffy will be released on October 8th via 100% Records. This is the band’s 7th album since their debut, Love and Squalor, was released in 2005. Their last album – called Megaplex – dropped in 2018. The indie-rockers recently released ‘Contact High,’ ‘Fault Lines,’ and ‘I Cut My Own Hair’ on July 1st.
