Watch The Throne (documentary)

Even Rosemary Clooney fans must be just a little bit excited at the prospect of a collaborative album between hip hop giants Jay-Z and Kanye West, so by way of whetting our appetites (and let’s face it, they need the publicity), Jay and Ye have released a ten-minute documentary about the making of the hotly-anticipated Watch The Throne. Filmed in a mansion-come-recording studio in Australia (what Russell Crowe is doing there is beyond me…), this short film serves as a scattered look behind the scenes in Camp Superstar. One particularly humbling moment captures Jay-Z rehearsing his rhyme over and over, grumbling, “Words are just so tough”.
