Dublin band SPRINTS made their TV debut on Sunday, performing their single ‘Descartes’ on Later... with Jools Holland.
The single appears on their latest album All That Is Over, released last month. The record covers themes of "war, ecological collapse, and attacks on trans rights".
The album was rated 8.5/10 by Hot Press, praising the band’s "knack of crafting snarling, explosive bangers, cementing Sprints’ status as one of the most compelling acts in rock."
The group was joined on the show by Nashville country singer Luke Combs, who played his song ‘Days Like These’. Last week, the artist was announced as the headline act at Slane Castle, set for July 18 and 19, 2026.
Additional guests included 1990s rock band Suede, who showcased two tracks from their 10th album Antidepressants and London jazz-soul singer Yazmin Lacey, who performed songs from her sophomore album Teal Dreams.
Mississippi family band Annie and the Caldwells also shared tunes from their debut record Can’t Lose My (Soul).
SPRINTS are set to perform at Vicar Street, Dublin on November 20.
