WATCH: New Cribs video

Wakefield's finest indie rock merchants The Cribs are taking a moment to look back on their career to date with the impending release of their Payola retrospective (out February 25).

The nostalgia runs through the new Andy Knowles-directed promo for freshly recorded fan favourite 'Leather Jacket Love Song' as the band head back in time a decade and a half.

The video features old footage of the brothers Jarman rehearsing in 1997. Their kid selves are then cleverly interspersed with up-to-date shots of Ryan and co, giving the impression the band are doing a bit of a Marty McFly. The tune, which is yet another miniature pop masterclass from the band, has a lyric to tie it all together. See the pretty adorable shenanigans below.
