WATCH: Marilyn Manson debuts Bowie-esque new song, WE ARE CHAOS, and retina-searing video
If you're a fan of dismembered tongues, step this way...
Marilyn Manson returns to the rock 'n' roll fray with 'WE ARE CHAOS', his capped up new single which sounds like it was written and recorded under the influence of early '70s David Bowie.
It's the title-track from his new album which follows on September 11, and was produced by country renegade Shooter Jennings who, it would appear from this, is an inspired choice of studio partner.
The accompanying video finds him morphing into a pill capsule and disappearing between a pair of heavily rouged lips. Over the course of four retina-searing minutes we also get to see a marching God of Fuck army, a dismembered tongue, waterfalls of blood, fangs biting into porcelain skin, post-apocalyptic vistas and, well, everything you normally see in one of Mr. M's videos.
We must say it's good to have the old devil back...
