WATCH: The Lego Batman Movie Trailer Two
Two trailers in one week? We should consider ourselves incredibly lucky!
Usually producers will wait a couple of weeks before releasing a second teaser trailer but when your main star is Batman, people just can't wait and supposedly, we can't get enough.
Of course, that is all according to Will Arnett's spectacular Lego Batman. The second trailer has already been released for The Lego Batman Movie and this time, we get to hear from Batman's loyal confidant Alfred Pennyworth (voiced by Ralph Fiennes).
As with it's predecessor The Lego Movie, the references and jokes made in this trailer are geared towards the adult demographic, yippee! We're back in Wayne's stately manor where Batman is letting his softer side get the better of him, reminiscing over his deceased parents when he is interrupted by domestic servant Alfred. Batman is reminded he has a tendency to do this quite a lot and we're given a breakdown into the exact amount, showing the hilarity of the frequency of remakes there has been of the caped crusader.
The Lego Batman Movie will revolve all around him as his loner status is invaded by the eager Robin and Batgirl and he finally comes face-to-face with his arch enemy, The Joker.
The Lego Batman Movie will have a tough time when it comes to money making as it's rival Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice opened to an impressive $27.7 million this weekend. However, when it comes to reviews Batman V Superman's has been receiving less than complimentary ones and there's no doubt here that The Lego Batman will be a clear winner in this regard. Just when you think Lego Batman's ego can't get any bigger!
The Lego Batman Movie will hit cinemas in 2017.
