WATCH: Girls Aloud's Sarah Harding to release solo single

Following in the footsteps of fellow bandmates Cheryl Fernandez-Versini, Nadine Coyle and Nicola Roberts, Sarah Harding is due to release her first solo track on August 7.

Rocking out in her video for 'Threads', Harding will be hoping to have a fraction of the success of Girls Aloud, who notched up a record 22 Top 40 UK hits. The singer, who is currently starring in ITV's Coronation Street as Joni Preston, has revealed that 'Threads' shows off her "inner rock chick".
