WATCH: First trailer for Snowden film released

The new trailer for the upcoming film Snowden was just recently released.
In 2013, Edward Snowden revealed hundreds of classified NSA documents to journalists and the public. Previously a member of the US military, the CIA and the NSA, Snowden had acquired a massive amount of knowledge concerning American citizens' privacy and surveillance. Right before he revealed US secret documents, he fled to Hong Kong and then later sought asylum in Russia. Snowden has been often regarded as a hero, a patriot, a dissident and a traitor.
Now, a new film is being made about him, which will be directed by Oliver Stone.
Snowden will star Joseph Gordon-Levitt as the Snowden man himself, along with Shailene Woodley, Melissa Leo, Zachary Quinto, Tom Wilkinson and Nicholas Cage.
