WATCH: Exclusive Look into Kong: Skull Island
The MTV Movie Awards were full of goodies for the film fanatic and an exclusive look in 2017's Kong: Skull Island was one of them.
Hollywood has been transfixed with the idea of King Kong ever since his screen debut in 1933.
His latest appearance was in Peter Jackson's epic monster motion King Kong in 2005 and the gorilla will be back to cause chaos in Kong: Skull Island in 2017. A behind-the-scenes look at the film debuted during MTV Movie Awards on Sunday night. You would think that after 84 years of frequenting themselves with the forbidden island, that these journalists would know better but apparently not! Foggy treacherous terrains, uninviting foreign species and a lack of any public utilities, Kong: Skull Island looks like everything we've expected it to be. However, when it comes to the Gorilla himself, leader of the cast Tom Hiddleston proclaims; "Kong is back in a new incarnation, a whole new conception. Kong appears in this film as you've never seen him before."
The 2017 version will be directed by Jordan Vogt-Roberts and will star Brie Larson, Samuel L. Jackson, John Goodman and John C.Reilly.
