Walk Me Home
Dubliner Karen Sheridan made a terribly impressive splash with her last outfit, vocal trio Kasette, who charmed critics and fans alike with their delicate melodies and powerful strings. Sheridan’s new musical baby Slow Skies is something a bit different; quirk-laden folk pop made with generously layered vocals, some subtle electronic trickery and, according to the press release, “kitchen cabinet percussion”. Sheridan’s intriguing, childlike voice is the star of debut EP Silhouettes, never lovlier than on the boisterous first single ‘Walk Me Home’.
