Cool club moves from electro newcomers
With the likes of Yeasayer and Shy Child currently reigniting the public’s love for ‘80s electro-pop, it seems that the time is right for New York boy/girl duo the Golden Filter’s debut. However, unlike their contemporaries, the hugely popular remixers have a more ethereal sound and are more St Etienne than Pet Shop Boys. Voluspa is a carefully crafted record that looks forward rather than backwards.
