Villagers' debut Domino single to tie-in with Record Store Day

Villagers open their Domino Records account with the April 17 (a.k.a. Record Store Day) release of their limited-edition ‘Becoming A Jackal’/‘Twenty Seven Strangers’ 7”. It will then be available a week later as a download.
The former is described as “a heart-wrenching, melodic piece full of lyrical finesse” and accompanied by a Ferry Gouw-directed video, which can be viewed on YouTube.
After showcasing next week at SXSW, Conor O’Brien will be returning to the UK where he’s opening for the David Kitt-enhanced Tindersticks.
