'Ordinary Love' leads the pack in this year's Oscars race...
Having secured the Golden Globe for Best Original Song at Sunday night's awards, U2 now look to the big one – the Oscars.
'Ordinary Love', penned for Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom, has to be considered the strong favourite for the award considering recent success but U2 face stiff competition, with songs from Alone Yet Not Alone, Despicable Me 2 (which sees Pharrell Williams up for the golden statue), Frozen and Her (that one penned by Karen O and Spike Jonze) all in contention.
Bono and co. were previously nominated in 2003 for Gangs of New York's 'The Hands That Built America, but lost out on the night to Eminem's Lose Yourself.
