The band announced the news via Twitter

Manchester's Twisted Wheel are no longer. The announcement was made through the band's official Twitter page with the simple message "R.I.P. Twisted Wheel".

Over the course of their existence the band released two albums, 2009's Twisted Wheel and 2012's Do It Again. The four-piece played their last show on May 23.
