Turn Away [music video]

Regular readers will already know how we feel about ‘Turn Away’, the irresistible slacker pop jam that we declared, along with its double A-side partner ‘Get Sick’, to be our ‘Single of the Fortnight’ a few months back. Not content with ridding our cold, shriveled hearts of poisonous cynicism, lo-fi garage rockers Bouts have defrosted our vital organs even further with the video for ‘Turn Away’, which shows a bunch of lovely-looking people singing the track in a makeshift Japanese karaoke bar, à la Maroon 5’s ‘Sunday Morning’. Just try not to crack a smile. I dare you.
