Trans 2010 finishes this weekend
Gilles Peterson and Introducing close Belfast's Trans 2010 Festival.
Gilles Peterson plays the Waterfront Penthouse Bar this Saturday, 24 July, while Introducing play the Waterfront Penthouse Bar this Friday 23 July.
Along with his busy schedule, Peterson also hosts the annual Gilles Peterson`s Worldwide Awards which is a celebration of all the best new music that has come through on his Radio 1 show, and organises the Worldwide festival every summer in the south of France. His mix of sounds are a culmination of influences from Africa, Jamaica, and European New Jazz. It's not to be missed.
All DJ Shadow fans will just love this set by Introducing. They have taken Shadow's classic début album, Endtroducing and play the whole thing live. The eight strong band, including the founders Matt Derbyshire and Mike Reed are sure not to disappoint.
