TikTok sensation Katie Gregson-MacLeod has released her highly-anticipated single 'Complex'.

The singer went viral on the social media platform when she posted the chorus of the track on August 4. Now amassing over one-million likes, countless musicians have posted covers or their own lyrical interpretations of 'Complex'. Among those celebrating the track are: Fletcher, Camilla Cabello, JP Saxe, Ben Platt, and Irish musician Elle Coves.

The track details the heartbreak of a saviour complex - thinking you need to 'save' the other person in your relationship, oftentimes hurting yourself in the process. The raw emotion exuding from this demo track bound with the intensely heart-breaking lyrics create a poignant masterpiece, dare I say even rawer than 'Driver's License'.

Lyrics like: "I'd die for just a promise you'd listen" and "the leading role that I thought I'd hold doesn't listen to me anymore" have stunned fans. The 21-year-old is shockingly vocally and lyrically mature, in addition to very clearly extremely talented.

The singer-songwriter has just been signed to Columbia Records after two years of self-releasing singles and playing gigs, while working as a barista.
